A Matriculation qualification with a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in a relevant trade, recognized by NCVT/SCVT. - For Graduate Apprentice:
A regular full-time Graduate degree in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks for General, EWS, and OBC-NCL candidates, and 45% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/University (AICTE/UGC).

Salary for IOCL Recruitment 2025
The stipend for apprentices will be as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and the Apprentices Rules 1992/2019, amended from time to time.
- Graduate and Technician Apprentices: The stipend will be paid in two parts. Rs. 4500 for Graduate Apprentices and Rs. 4000 for Technician Apprentices will be directly transferred by the Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT) to the candidates’ bank accounts. The remaining amount will be paid by Indian Oil Corporation.
- Trade Apprentices: The full stipend will be paid by Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Candidates must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account enabled for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to receive the Government share of the stipend from BOAT.
