Required Qualifications:
- Candidates must be retired or serving officers (except from Punjab National Bank/ erstwhile OBC/ erstwhile UNI and related parties) with a rank equivalent to General Manager in another Bank/Financial Sector Regulatory Body/NBSP/NBFC/CIC.
- The applicants should not have previously worked or currently be employed by PNB or its related parties.
Experience Requirement:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in areas such as:
- Banking
- Non-banking finance
- Regulation and supervision
- Payment and settlement systems
- Credit information or consumer protection
Age Limit:
- Applicants should be less than 65 years old to be eligible.

Salary Structure for PNB Internal Ombudsman Position
The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 1.75 lacs, with necessary tax deductions. Additional benefits include:
- Telephone/Mobile Bill reimbursement as per TEG Scale VII officials (General Manager of the Bank)
- Bank’s Car & Driver facility
- TA/DA for outstation duty as per TEG Scale VII norms
Non-Entitled Benefits:
The Internal Ombudsman will not be eligible for:
- Dearness allowance
- Staff loans
- Medical aid or benefits
- Superannuation benefits
- Travel concessions
- Leave encashment
- Entertainment expenses
- Insurance or any other staff benefits scheme
Selection Process for PNB Recruitment 2025
Selection will be based on Personal Interaction/Interview (online or physical).
Selection Criteria:
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
- The Bank will determine the number of candidates to be interviewed based on qualifications, experience, and overall suitability.
- The qualifying marks for the interview will be decided by PNB.
