A total of 979 vacancies are available, including 38 seats reserved for individuals with benchmark disabilities. These include 12 positions for candidates with blindness and low vision, 7 for the deaf and hard of hearing, 10 for those with locomotor disabilities (such as cerebral palsy, leprosy cured, dwarfism, acid attack victims, and muscular dystrophy), and 9 seats for multiple disabilities, including deaf-blindness.

Applicants interested in this opportunity must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification. Additionally, the age limit for applicants is set between 21 and 32 years.

Qualification Required for UPSC Recruitment 2025

To be eligible for UPSC Recruitment 2025, candidates must meet the required educational qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification.
• Final-year students or those awaiting their results can apply for the UPSC Prelims, provided they submit proof of passing their examination before applying for the Mains.
• Medical graduates who have completed their final year of MBBS but have yet to complete their internship can also apply. However, they must submit a course completion certificate from the relevant authority when applying for the Mains.
• Candidates with professional or technical qualifications recognized by the government as equivalent to a degree are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2025

Candidates applying for UPSC Recruitment 2025 must meet the specified age criteria:

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 32 years

The upper-age relaxation for different reserved categories is as follows:

Application Fee for UPSC Recruitment 2025

• However, those who generated a Pay-in-Slip before the deadline can complete the payment at SBI Branches during banking hours on February 11, 2025.
• If candidates fail to make the payment in cash by the deadline, they must use online payment methods (Debit/Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking) before 6:00 PM on February 11, 2025.

Selection Process for UPSC Recruitment 2025

As per the official notification of UPSC Recruitment 2025, the Civil Services Examination consists of two stages:

1. Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination – Objective-type test for shortlisting candidates for the Civil Services (Main) Examination.
2. Civil Services (Main) Examination – A written test followed by an Interview/Personality Test for final selection into various services and posts.

The Preliminary Examination serves as a screening test, and marks obtained in this stage will not be considered for the final merit ranking.
